What's With the Pinup Girls?
Besides being simply beautiful, we think that the pinup girl is one of best representations of classic Americana around. When designing our website, we wanted to create a visual that elicited a sense of tradition and patriotism. We wanted captivating colors and graphics that would draw the visitor in and deliver an informative and entertaining visual experience. We could think of no better way to do that than with pinup girls. These girls not only reflect the fact that girls are girls but, in our opinion, they also represent some of the greatest American art in existence and remind the viewer of a simpler time.

David Slatten
With a background as a Firefighter, Paramedic and Disaster Manager, there's not much David hasn't seen. But his passion has always been art and design and now he gets to explore that passion everyday at the helm of JD Web Studio.

Conner Slatten
As if it wasn't obvious, Conner is David Slatten's son, and as employee of the month...every month...he strives to foster the capacity to create awesome websites. He is always striving to improve his skills in the web design and SEO industry.

To us at JD Web Studio, pinup girls represent a true segment of Americana. These fantastic pieces of art have been around for decades and never lose their allure or appeal. They stand proud all through the JD Web Studio website as a symbol of a proud piece of American culture. (And to make our site look really cool!)
